A Ukrainian man has been charged with pc fraud for allegedly infecting thousands and thousands of computer systems with malware in a cybercrime operation generally known as “Raccoon Infostealer,” the US Justice Division mentioned Tuesday.

Mark Sokolovsky, 26, is being held within the Netherlands and the US is searching for his extradition, the division mentioned in a press release.

It mentioned Raccoon Infostealer malware was leased to cybercriminals for $200 a month, payable in cryptocurrency.
