Sony introduced the new Dual Sense controller for PS5. Sony has shared details about its DualSense controller for the new generation of PlayStation 5 game consoles.
This gamepad is the direct descendant of DualShock, however, the novelty received a number of significant improvements and changes, for example, a two-colour design instead of the basic black that was found in previous generations of the PlayStation console. The company also decided to move the light panel from the back, as it was in DualShock 4, to the edge of the touch panel. Such a structural solution allowed to give the gamepad a stylish appearance.
The new DualSense controller received a set of built-in microphones. Thanks to this, players will be able to communicate with friends and other players during gaming sessions without using a headset. In addition, Sony removed the “Share” button. Instead, the novelty is equipped with a “Create” button. While there is no exact information about what functions it will perform. However, the company will definitely tell you about it in the next few months. On the DualSense images, the USB-C port is also visible, which is designed to recharge the gamepad.
Sony wants to give players a completely new and unforgettable experience from the gameplay. That is why the DualSense gamepad received tactile feedback. Thanks to this, players will be able to physically feel, for example, the difference when moving a car along a smooth race track and on a dirt road. Also, the novelty received adaptive triggers L2 and R2.
