The S-Pod uses the same gyroscopic self-balancing technology as the more familiar Segway gyro scooters. But the control system of this vehicle is different. Instead of moving it with the tilts of the body forward and to the sides, the user is asked to control the chair with the help of a small joystick located on the right side of the seat.
