Cybersecurity powerhouse Palo Alto Networks on Thursday introduced plans to spend $195 million in money to amass Israeli startup Cider Safety, a deal that provides software program provide chain safety capabilities to its Prisma Cloud platform.
Palo Alto Networks stated the transaction will enhance its ambitions to have Prisma Cloud present the trade’s most complete provide chain safety answer as a part of its code-to-cloud safety platform.
For Cider Safety, an early-stage startup with roots in Tel Aviv, the deal comes lower than a 12 months after its public launch with $38 million in enterprise capital financing.
