Intel Processors Introduced The Comet Lake Processors laptops. Intel developers have expanded the line of processors of the 10th generation. The Comet Lake series is designed for thin laptops and 2-in-1 models.
The new 10th generation Intel Core processors are represented by two U and Y series. Each of them includes four options. According to the manufacturer, they will double the performance of the devices, compared with the previous generation processors. At the same time, the novelties will ensure the long battery life of laptops. The new series are presented by Core i3, i5 and i7 processors. New items support Wi-Fi and Thunderbolt 3. They have RAM LPDDR4x, LPDDR3 and DDR4. Models support a maximum frequency of up to 4.9 GHz, as well as up to 12 MB Intel Smart Cache. Graphic frequency – up to 1.15 GHz.

It is reported that laptops and 2-in-1 models with new processors will be available closer to the end of the year – during the New Year sales period. Manufacturers are already preparing to test some devices with Comet Lake as part of Intel’s innovative program called Project Athena.
